Joseph was an ignorant and poor child, who failed at shoemaking and became a priest. He was well known for his ability to levitate and fly in the air, leading to his patronage of all things flying. He was devoted to God and his life was overwhelmed with trances of happiness whenever the Faith was mentioned.
